There remains the question of wealth and prosperity and whether the attainment of wealth and success comes from character traits or from a self directed creativeness or is it just a matter of fate? Recently, a retiree bought a two dollar lottery ticket and won $ 260 million dollars. This points more to fate than propensity. There are so many anectdotal accounts of vaying ways which people have acquired wealth and success. What predominates the accounts is the hard work and  effort in reaching One’s goals. There are fateful stories and certainly there are stories of kismet. When all the anecdotes are compiled and compared, it’s the work ethic and determination which rises above all the rest of the results.

The effort and work indicates that there was a intense intention and subsequent attentiveness. Once again there seems a confirmation to the necessity for attention and intention. These are a foundational aspect of any success.

Fate or destiny are always a consideration, but probability calculations would indicate this is not the most expedient method of attaining goals or fulfilling desires. The end of the rainbow and the magic wand are much too elusive for them to be considered a viable way of attaining goals.

Propensity can be related to attitude. Attitude is all important when your accomplishments are contigent upon other people.
